Nella stagione 2011/12 receve il premio "K. Kilgour" per il pubblico più corretto. Dopo il fallimento della società Volley Corigliano, che giocò due sole partite della stagione di A2 2008/09, nasce l'attuale società che nella stessa stagione disputa la 1a Divisione, per poi iniziare la salita verso la B1. Nel 2010-11 viene ammessa alla A2 come avente diritto al ripescaggio
