Society history
La Pallavolo Padova nasce nel 2009/10, ereditando lo scettro dallo storico presidente Maurizio Sartorati che - dopo 19 anni - lascia il timone della Società a Fabio Cremonese. Riunendo un gruppo di Soci, si crea un nuovo progetto per il rilancio della squadra allo scopo di riportare una delle Società più importanti d'Italia nel volley che conta. In quella stagione i bianconeri accedono ai Play Off chiudendo il campionato all'8° posto. Nel 2010/11 la Phyto Performance Padova domina il campionato di serie A2 e conquista la massima serie nella storica finale contro Santa Croce. La Fidia Padova approda in A1 e coach Montagnani punta molto sul ritorno a Padova dell'opposto Simeonov, affidandosi in cabina di regia al cubano Gonzalez. La stagione però è ricca di sfortune e si chiude con la retrocessione in A2. Il 2012/13 inizia con un nuovo gruppo guidato da coach Luigi Schiavon, tornato alla guida della squadra dopo l'ultima avventura del 2006/07 in A1. Per la promozione in SuperLega bisogna attendere il 2013/14, quando coach Valerio Baldovin porta inoltre la Tonazzo Padova alla conquista della Coppa Italia di A2. Nel 2015/16 i bianconeri accedono ai Play Off scudetto trascinati dal capitano Orduna, ma vengono eliminati ai quarti dalla DHL Modena. Col marchio Kioene la prima squadra chiude al 12° posto la stagione 2016/17 mentre nel 2017/18 giunge in finale Play Off Challenge, sconfitta dalla Gi Group Monza. L'arrivo di atleti del calibro di Travica, Ishikawa ed Hernandez permette di accedere ai play off scudetto nel 2018/19. Nel 2020/21 subentra Giancarlo Bettio alla presidenza bianconera e con l'arrivo di coach Jacopo Cuttini si lanciano molti giovani tra cui Bottolo, che nell'estate 2021 vince l'Europeo con la Nazionale Seniores. In ambito giovanile, Padova mette in cassaforte la Boy League (2015), due scudetti Under 14 (2013 e 2016), uno scudetto Under 13 (2015) e la Coppa Italia di Divisione (2021).Nella stagione 2003/04 riceve il premio "J. George" per il pubblico più corretto. Nelle stagioni 2010/11, 2012/13, 2013/14 riceve il premio "K. Kilgour" per il pubblico più corretto.
