Society history
Nelle stagioni 2010/11, 2012/13, 2013/14 vince il premio "J. George" per il pubblico più corretto. Sono bastati undici campionati alla società piacentina per approdare alla Serie A. Dal 1982/83, anno in cui il sodalizio emiliano iniziò il proprio cammino dalla 1a divisione, la scalata verso il vertice della pallavolo italiana e le prime apparizioni in Europa è stata rapida. Tutto inizio nell'estate del 2000 e solamente due anni dopo la formazione, allora allenata da Mauro Berruto, conquista l'indimenticabile doppietta in Coppa Italia di A2 e Campionato che spalanca le porte della Serie A1, striscia ininterrotta da cinque campionati con l'intermezzo della fusione con l'Asystel Milano. Nell'estate del 2005 la Copra Volley S.r.l. nasce sostituendo la Coprasystel Piacenza. Nel 2005/06 conquista il suo primo trofeo europeo: la Top Team Cup. In una delle più belle finali di sempre, nel 2008/09 conquista lo scudetto battendo Trento al tie break di Gara 5.
