Nelle stagioni 1990/91 e 1994/95 vince il Premio "Jimmy George" per il pubblico più corretto. La società Porto a conclusione della stagione 99/00 cede il titolo sportivo di A1 alla Trentino Volley e riparte dalla B. Nel 2004 torna in A acquistando il titolo di Trieste, giocando però a Ferrara.
