Society history
La società nasce nel 1952 come VVFF Padova e tale denominazione rimane sino al 1970 quando è costretta a cambiare nome perchè tessera un giocatore straniero, divenendo US Petrarca. Nella stagione 84/85 retrocede ma viene ripescata per il forfait di Asti.Nella stagione 1994/95 riceve il premio "J. George" per il pubblico più corretto.
