Leonel Marshall (LPR Piacenza): “We knew it would be a difficult game, and so it was. We gave our best, we were coming from a complicated week after Cev Cup’s game versus Trento and the game in Perugia, where we did not play at our level. I’m happy for our game on tonight, it was almost impossible to win versus this opponent, but I’m happy because we gave everything, we put all our forces on the court”.
Lorenzo Bernardi (Sir Safety Conad Perugia): “It was a great and important win, it wasn’t easy to come here and grab the win. We did not play at the same level of saturday, in third set we did alot of mistakes. They are a team with quality and with alot of motivations after saturday’s loss, they could be dangerous. Now we have 10 days to prepare the challenge versus Trento, we need to step up in our level of volleyball, we will need to take soon the lead of the series winning on the road”.
