Modena sets its mind on the Champions League after the league win over Vibo Valentia. The yellow army is currently top of its European group with 5 points, coming out of a debut tie-break win over Ljubljana and a 3-1 road triumph over the Polish side of Belchatow. Now, the Italians will take on the second of the group, the romanians of Craiova, who stands just one point behind. They are guided by Danut Pascu, who is also the head coach of the Romanian national team.
Coach Roberto Piazza : « This win over Vibo has to give us a basis to face this end of january and get ready for an intense month of February. We will play for our qualification against Craiova because on January 31 we will then travel to Romania and we will then know if we have secured our place in the next round or not ».
