Spoleto grabbed a third consecutive win at the expense of Reggio Emilia thanks to some superb work in the block-dig department. And that was not easy to predict considering how tall were their players, like Kody at 213cm or middle blocker Suljagic at 208. Thanks to this win, Spoleto is tied in first place with Brescia and Mondovì, and it secured its place in the Italian Cup quarter-finals of the Serie A2.
Roberto Romiti: “This was an important win because this brought us three points and it was on the road against an in-form team. We did a good job of imposing our game. We had decided to hit the serve hard to avoid first-time spikes from our opponents. But we will always try to get better, we must learn from the set lost that we have to cut down on those spells in which we lose our focus if we want to be able to beat the top teams ».
