Civitanova, Modena and Trento are the three teams still in the race for the title of winter champion. Thanks to this tie-break win over Monza, Trento reached its first target of the season : the qualification into the cup quarter-finals. Civitanova now counts a two-point advantage on Trento before the last round to the halfway point to the regular season. Modena is third just one point behind. This means that Trento will be winter champ if:
- 1) it wins in Molfetta 3-0 or 3-1, Civitanova loses in Modena 0-3 or 1-3.
- 2) It wins 3-0 and Civitanova loses in Modena at the tie-break.
- 3) It wins 3-1 in Molfetta, Civitanova loses at the tie-break and Trento gets a better point difference than Civitanova.
