BBC Castellana Grotte obtained its fifth victory this weekend in Ortona meaning they stay top of the standings. Cazzaniga finished top scorer with 21 points and Moreira shined too with 19. The attack worked just fine but the group has to improve on the serve. The latter was at fault in the third set as Ortona got back in the game.
Pino Lorizio (Bcc Castellana Grotte): « If we had started the third set like the first two, it would probably have ended on a 3-0 score. Credit to Ortona who kept believing in its chances. Our serve has not been as good as in the last game, while they played better in dig and at the net in that set. We bounced back in the fourth set which we dominated. This is with this kind of attitude that we can hope to achieve great things ».
