Pineto smashes Bassano 3-0. Fracascia boys played a match almost perfect in every single part of the game in a match totally without story.
Bad night for Coach Simoni boys, it can happen, and no drama about it. But for sure during the match something must have happened to Bassano confidence. Bassano didn’t play with the usual detemination and sport anger.
The only positive note is that Daniele Desiderio one year after the knee injury has been able to play a little bit of the match. Daniele played in the unusual position of opposite player but he showed that, even if he is not in perfect shape, that he will be soon at his best levels and the team needs him.
Not too much to say about the match. First set tight until 9-9 then a big break for Pineto and 16-11 at the second time out, with Zago and Ronaldo serves. Sets ends 25 – 18 for Pineto. In the second set it is the same story and Pineot flies to 19- 10. Bassano reacts and recovers almost all the gap by reaching 20-18. But then Pineto scores another break and the set is for them with the score 25 -20. Same thing for the third set with Pineto always ahead and able to close 25-20.
