Two trips and two tie-break victories for Civita Castellana who had the better of Cantù. Just like its first road game, Spanakis’ men had the chance to seal it soon and taker all the points before letting their opponents back in it and resurecting in the fifth to clinch it. The determination with which they played can only be praised. Civita Castellana had taken control early thanks to their young stars : Richards and the Brazilian outside hitter Caio. In the fifth, Marinelli hurt his ankle and had to leave the action early at 1-1. Young Sacripanti came on and was crucial at the end of the set with the last two points.
