Piacenza’s last friendly game before the start of the regular season on October 2 against Perugia ended with a 2-2 draw at home against Monza. While Marshall came on in the third set, the French Clévenot finished top scorer of the Piacenza team with 17 points (2 aces, 2 blocks). Hristo Zlatanov was back from injury and scored 13 in two sets (3 blocks, 67% in attack). Hernandez, who only played the first two sets, also finished in double figures with one ace and one block.
