Third win in as many games in pre-season for Padova, who had the better of the Austrian side of UVC Graz behind a major performance from Giannotti who exploded for 24. In spite of this encouraging win, coach Baldovin warned « there is still a lot to be done ». Indeed, after dominating the first two sets, the Italian were forced to play a tie-break.
