Monza’s summer buys ends with a superb coup: the signing of Donovan Dzavoronok. This is Monza’s fifth spiker with Fromm, Botto, Galliani and Terpin. Born in 1997, the Czech International took part in the World League 2015 and 2016, with Monza’s Miguel Angel Falasca as head coach in the last one. He made his professional debut in 2013 in his home country at Brno before moving to Czu Praha. Last season, he was at Cez Karlovarsko. He followed the footsteps of his father, Milan Dzavoronok, who played in the World Championships 1990 in Rio De Janeiro with Czechoslovakia.

“I am thrilled and proud to be a Monza player – said the new spiker – I’ve heard so much good about the club, and taking part in the SuperLega has always been a dream of mine, I couldn’t be happier. I have no doubt this is a great opportunity that will allow me to make strides forward. I will try to learn as much as I can and earn as much court time as possible”.
