After two great victories against Rome and Treviso, Itas Diatec Trentino is looking for the third one against Lube Banca Marche in Macerata. It is the second last match before the world championship stop. The goal is to bring home as many points as possible. The match will be shown live on SKY Sport2 starting from 6.15PM
ITAS DIATEC TRENTINO: in the previous away from home matches, Lattari’s boys always obtained a victory against Verona and Rome. And in Macerata the team will try to do the same.
Itas Diatec train very well during the week and coach Lattari can count on the same players that won last match against Treviso with young libero Andrea Segnalini replacing the injured Dore Della Lunga.
MACERATA: They lost 5 of the seven matches played in this season. Since they won the championship last year it seems that they are cursed and that they can’t show the best side of their game. De Giorgi’s team didn’t play well since the beginning of the season and had to face also Ivan Miljkovic injury. So they lost against Piacenza and Rome in front of their crowd. Also in the Indesit Champions League they lost two games out of two. But Macerata does not want to talk about crisis yest also because they can count on great players like Dennis, Sintini, Rodrigao, Geric, Corsano and Miljkovic.
PREVIOUS MATCHES: It will be the 15th match between the two teams with 7 vicotries for each team in the previous 14 matches. In Macerata, Itas Diatec Trentino won three times, two of them at the tiebreak.
THE STARTING SIXS: Radamès Lattari should start with: Meoni setter, Nascimento opposite, Gallotta and Winiarski spikers, Heller and Hübner middleblockers, and Bari libero.
Ferdinando De Giorgi has to decide if he can use Miljkovic from the beginning or start with Bartoletti as opposite players. Then Sintini setter,
Dennis and Herpe spikers, Rodrigao and Geric middleblockers with Corsano libero.
REFEREES: Luca Zecchini and Maurizio Giani.
