Flurry of Padova players are selected in the various Italian National teams. Libero Fabio Balaso, spiker Sebastiano Milan will take part in a camp with the Under 23 to prepare for the World Championships. Setter Francesco Zoppellari will be in Vigna di Valle to prepare the European Championships U20, while the youngest Andrea Barutta, Giovanni Grinta and Mattia Scarin Callegaro, already Italian champions with Padova U14, will be in Locorotondo with the Under 17 team. “A great reward for the hard work done by the club – said coach Valerio Baldovin, who’s the first team coach and in charge of the youth academy – This must be taken as a starting point for the youngsters”.
