Civitanova brings back Nicola Pesaresi home. The libero came up in the Civitanova youth ranks (2004-2009) and his rights were still owned by the club. During his pro career, he played one season in the B1 division (Blu College) before making it in the Serie A. He gained experience at Club Italia and Segrate in the A2 and then made the jump in the elite with four years spent at Verona, where he won the Challenge Cup last season. At International level, Pesaresi also won the Mediterranean Games 2013 with the Italian National team.

“Wearing the Civitanova shirt is like coming back home for me – said Nicola Pesaresi – I basically grew up here and I’m glad to be back. I am thrilled and I want to thank the club for this opportunity. It’s a return as well as a chance to play for a top club, one that is used to battle for big prizes. My personal goal will be to make further progress after my four years spent in Verona”.
