Jovovic and Monza, the love story continues

Monza extended the contract of Nikola Jovovic. “I am extremely happy – said the Serbian setter who registered 28 appearances last season, 70 sets placed, 19 aces, 40.4% in attack, and 28 blocks (0.25 per set) – I really feel at home in Monza. The work we have done in the past two years will be useful for this coming season as we always aim to get better and better. The club is really growing, and I not talking only about the SuperLega team, there is also the women’s team who will be in the top division. We will have a good group this year and hopefully we will reach our target: reach the playoffs and why not, try to get among the top five teams in Italy. It won’t be easy, many teams have strengthened their squads. But we want to show what we’re capable of”.
