Ortona signed talented setter Matteo Pedron. Born in 1992 in Padova, he came up in the youth ranks of his home town where he had a superb season in the Serie A2 in 2012-13. Serious athlete who always has a good influence on the game, in his young career, he also played for Matera and Castellana Grotte, where he spent his last two seasons.
