Marco Volpato signed a two-year extension which will keep him at the club through the 2017-18 season. The middle blocker has already worn the Padova shirt for the past four years. The 26-year-old had begun his career at Vicenza then Bassano and Giorgione before making the jump at Padova, where he helped the team earn promotion in the SuperLega as well as help the team win the Italian Cup A2.

The work carried out by the club and coaching staff is extremely motivating. There is great dedication on the development of the young players and a lot of excitement around the team as we reached important goals in the past few years”.
