Romagna played a good first set before fading and surrendering to Modena in the friendly played in the PalaCosta arena. The decision making was not optimum in attack for Kantor’s men and they made a few mistakes too many. The group can definitely get better before Sunday’s Challenge playoff game against Piacenza. Modena was without Nikic, Piano, Petric and Vettori.

“Unfortunately, the things that had not worked against Milan on Saturday did not go well either today – said coach Kantor – Our attack has not been efficient, we failed to convert good situations, we faced some one-man blocks but did not score. We can’t afford to make such mistakes. The reception hanged on rather fine, but to get a result we have to be more clinical. Too many mistakes again today”.
