The season has been bitter but Giuliani’s men have already turned their attention to the Challenge Cup playoffs in the hope to make their way in European action in 2016-17. The Challenge Cup playoffs will have the 5th place at stake and therefore a place in the Challenge Cup 2017. The first stage will be a tournament between the teams from 9th to 12th in the league: Romagna, Monza, Milan and Piacenza. According to their standings these four teams will take on the four losers of the league playoffs quarter-finals. The semi-finals and final will follow.
