Upset vanished in tie-break

De Matteis and co were close to the breakthrough against Vibo Valentia but in the tie-break the visitors had the edge. Still, Civita was back at its best after last week’s debacle in the derby against Tuscania. Two early aces in the tie-break gave a 4-2 lead to Vibo and they would hang on to it until the very end (12-15).
