Siena to host Cantù

Siena is coming off a positive victory over Mondovì and is already focused on the last round before the halfway point of the regular season, to be played on Sunday 3 January at 6pm against Cantù. A win would guarantee a place into the Italian Cup A2 but it won’t be easy against an extremely solid team who counts experienced quality players in its roster. Cantù showed how dangerous it is in the last round by beating Civita Castellana, third force in the table. If Siena was to lose 3-0 or 3-1, its qualification into the cup would depend on the result between Potenza and Castellana Grotte, the latter being just three points behind Siena.
