Sunday’s remake of the clash for a place in the Serie A2 between Mondovì and Siena will be key again, this time for the qualification into the Italian Cup A2. The last time around, Siena had come out on top but Mondovì still managed to be promoted through the playoffs. A lot of changes has been made in Siena, they started off with a very poor run which cost Giannini his job. Massimo Caponeri took over and with a couple of roster changes the team took off to reach its current 8th place, just one point above Mondovì.
