In spite of an excellent start to the encounter, Siena could not win it before the tie-break against Club Italia Roma. The two points are one less than expected. The fifth set started off tight (6-5) but the winning spikes of Snippe and Majdak took Siena 12-8 up. The visitors would never come back.
