Itas Diatec Trentino:

Itas Diatec Trentino came out with a victory from the PalaOlimpia of Verona, at end of a very long match (more than two hours). The two team had the match in their hands in different occasion during the game.
Itas Diatec Trentino better in the first two sets, thanks to great percentage of passing and attack. More determination for Verona in the second part of the match with good performances of Bernardi, Biribanti e Gato. So the match arrives at the tiebreak. First break for Verona ahead 9-3 but Trento was able to ties the score up at 11-11. The set went on point to point until two lucky services of Heller gave the chance to Trento to close the set and the match (23-21 the final score).
In Trento it is worth mentioning the match of Winiarski (56% attack and 79% passing), and the great support of Gallotta and Meoni.
Stefan Hübner said: “In the first two sets we played very well then we dropped a lot our game. But now we have to think how we played in the first two and at the pride reaction we had in the tiebreak. It was not easy to come back from that score but we did it and we have to be happy about it. I am personally glad that I could play the whole match. I need to feel the game and a match like that was really important for me”.
Itas Diatec Trentino will be back on court on Wednesday night (8.30PM) at the PalaTrento against Perugia for the third Serie A1 round.
