The last game to the halfway point of the season will define the Italian Cup quarter-final match-ups. While they are waiting for new coach Kovac to arrive, Buti and co are training under the orders of assistant coach Carmine Fontana to prepare for the road game in Latina. The Block Devils could finish from 3rd to 5th place. They currently have 21 points, same as Verona, while Trento has 22. First and second place will go to Civitanova and Modena. Between Perugia and Verona, the latter has a better set difference (one more set won). Trento has one more win, and would stay in front if they were tied. Sunday’s opponent, Latina, Molfetta and Monza could be the quarter-final opposition as they will finish between 6th and 8th. The order is unknown though.
