Three sets and just over an hour were enough for Trento to secure victory against Tours in the big game of Group C. Thanks to this win, the Italians count a three-point advantage on the French on top of the standings. And the first place could be sealed for good in the return game on December 16 in France. “The first set did not reflect the real value of the teams on court – said coach Radostin Stoytchev – It all went to perfection for us, while they were struggling to execute just about everything.
