“We have worked very hard in the last few days to cut down on our mistakes – said coach Daniele Castellani after the CEV Cup win over Karlovarsk 3-0 and ahead of this weekend’s clash against the Italian champions of Trentino – We just said it was better to lose from ten counter attacks from our opponents than ten of our mistakes. This means we can hit hard a good ball, but have to handle with care the bad ones. And I think yesterday we made some progress in that area. Another thing we worked on was the reception, to make it more solid, to concede less direct points to have more possibilities to attack. And we improved in that area too. We still need more quality but we will keep improving”.
