Padova was defeated 3-1 in a friendly game played against the Austrians of Innsbruck. Coach Baldovin decided to rest outside hitter Stefano Giannotti (Shoulder pain) and the US spiker Brian Cook, while the Austrian Alexander Berger, former Innsbruck player, played the whole game and scored 12 points (1 ace, 42% in attack). The best however was Gonzalo Quiroga with 16 points (50%, 3 aces, 1 block), while Sebastiano Milan did well too with 16 points of his own at 45% in attack (1 block).

“Like I said after the Latina game, right now we’re struggling to find our rhythm – explained coach Baldovin – And we can only improve by playing. More than focusing on our next opponent, right now we have to focus on our own game. We mainly have to make less mistakes in attack and be more consistent”.
