Cantù is getting ready to host the young prospects of Club Italia following their encouraging victory over Alessano in the opening game of the season. Club Italia caused an upset last weekend by defeating Castellana Grotte.
“I am glad we did not play Club Italia in the first game given the result they obtained – said coach Della Rosa – The fact they’re young probably means that unconsciously people underestimate them, but their victory definitely proved how good they were. It has to be said that they have most of the Italian Under 19 team which did very well in the last World Championships. They are the best of their age group, it’s definitely a solid group in terms of quality”.
