Everybody ready? You’d feel like saying “almost” because the friendly games have not been brilliant. “Almost” because a player like libero Primavera was substituted just a week from D-day, and “almost” because the new libero, Federico Bonami, will not be able to play the first three rounds according to the regulations. But the optimism there was when the team was built is still there. Tofoli has the style of players he wanted, the club has been careful in spending as it always is and the team seems to have potential to do well. The first game will be in Reggio Emilia, the team that won the B1 division two years ago, while Tuscania (3rd) went through the playoffs to earn promotion into the Serie A2.

“I was starting to feel I’d never find a club – said libero Bonami who led Potenza to a brilliant A2 title last season – But now I finally have a team and I can do what I love the most, playing volleyball. Tuscania is a small club but there is a great feeling here, people are fantastic, I already felt at home after a couple of days”.
