Latina won its second friendly in as many days against Siena (Serie A2). Still, without Sket and Yosifov, who are at the Euro 2015, coach Palcì gave court time to all his other players. This was another good outing ahead of Sunday’s league debut in Padova.
“We made a few too many mistakes, especially in the first two sets – said coach Marco Franchi – But then we stepped up a gear and we executed well the simple things. We started to read better their attack. Our blocking went very well, not only because we collected 16 blocks but also because we deflected many others”.
