The first of the two friendly games to be played in the PalaEvangelisti arena went to the guests of Molfetta 2-1 (22-25, 12-25, 25-23). Even if they were not hundred percent following some long trips back from the European Championships, coach Castellani sent De Cecco and Russell into the mix. Russell had a good game with 12 points and 53% in attack, while the understanding between the American and De Cecco was already interesting. Tzioumakas was effective once more (13 points, Holt did ok at the net but found it harder in reception. Same again tomorrow.
