CMC Romagna conceded its first pre-season defeat at home against Milan. Only spiker Van Garderen was missing but he will join the group soon as the Netherlands are out of the European Championships. On the other hand, Maurice Torres took part. As for Milan, it was without Sottile (in the Euro 2015 with Italy) and spiker Skrimov.

“I am not satisfied with this game – said coach Kantor – The result is not what bothers me, what I did not like is the attitude of the boys. We made an incredible amount of mistakes, 34 mistakes in one game are really too many, and we really struggled in reception. And when the serve as well as the reception are missing, it becomes really hard to play against anyone”.

CMC Romagna will now face two more friendly games against Piacenza, the first away on Saturday and the other one on Wednesday 21 in Ravenna for the Europart trophy.
