“What is about to begin is a transition year – said head coach Mauro Barisciani – This is some kind of test for the new Serie A2 that will be launched next year. I can see 8 teams at about the same level, including Mondovì, which could triumph. What we have to improve on right now is mainly our serve, but we have to get better in attack too even if we have quality, while the reception is another fundamental we struggled to execute with consistency”.
Captain Andrea Longo also had a say as we’re less than two weeks from our league debut: “I am sure we will have a good season, we will have some fun and the fans too. One thing is for sure, we will give everything we have”.
