Perugia’s first defeat of the season arrived in the Sieco Service Cup final. Castellani’s men surrendered 3-1 to Molfetta, future opponent in the SuperLega. But in spite of the defeat, there was a lot of positive against a team that had its full squad available, while Perugia will have its international players back from next week. The organization on court looked good and the players showed character and fighting spirit. Dimitrov’s performance stood out while Tzioumakas finished top scorer.
