The European Championships will begin in just a few hours. Among the protagonists, there will be two Vibo Valentia members: assistant coach Antonio Valentini who will be in Italy’s staff as scout, and outside hitter Peter Michalovic with the Slovakian team coached by Giuliani. Slovakia has been drawn in the toughest group of all with Poland, Serbia and Finland. There will also be many other people who used to work for Vibo like coach Blengini (Italy’s head coach), Buti, Sottile, the Slovenians Urnaut and Plot, the Fins Sammelvuo (Head coach) and Shumov, the Dutch Bontje and Klapwijk, the German Kaliberda, the Bulgarian Nikolaj Nikolov and the Slovakian Ogurcak.
