Until a few days ago, spikers Marco Pierotti and Oreste Cavuto were living a great learning experience with Italy’s Under 21 in the World Championships in Mexico alongside former Potenza star Alberto Polo. Tomorrow, the three U21 internationals will be reunited on the court as Potenza takes on Ravenna in a friendly away from home.
“I did not expect to play that much in the World Championships – admitted Marco Pierotti – It was nice to feel the faith of the coaching staff and my teammates. I was a bit disappointed with the fifth place but we gave everything we had. But no matter the results I gained a lot in confidence and I am so motivated to do well this coming regular season. It will be fun to meet again with my friend Albero (Polo) in Ravenna on Thursday”.
