President Nereo Destri has resigned as president of the club. The board of directors accepted his will and discussed the matter. The election of the new president followed. Stefano Magrini was unanimously named new President of BluVolley Verona, while Luca Bazzoni, Natalino Bettin and Andrea Corsini will act as vice presidents.
“I personally, and on behalf of everyone at the club, want to thank President Nereo Destri for the passion he showed and his huge contribution in consolidating Verona at the top of Italian volleyball. The club has made steps forward through the years. I have personally dedicated more and more time to volleyball and the reorganization of the club in recent years, leading the way in this new start of the club together with other Partners. I want to thank Calzedonia, company with which we share an important project, and the people of the club for the faith they show in me”.
