Puerto Rican outside hitter Maurice Torres and spiker Dore Della Lunga were officially unveiled to the media. “Thrilled to introduce two of the first players we wanted to build the new roster” said GM Giuseppe Cormio.
“I am delighted to be here in Ravenna – said Della Lunga – What really caught my eyes has been the way the players approached the daily training. Until a few years ago, I used to take this for granted then I understood it was not always positive. I am happy I am part of a group who knows the way to go. I think there are 4-5 teams who have what it takes to win it all but I think we just have to focus on doing our best regardless of the opposition”.
Then Maurice Torres took over the microphone: “I am extremely motivated, I am excited about this new challenge in the SuperLega. I know this is a very tough league but I think we can do well”.
