Coach Simoni said: “I can’t wait to have the whole team at our disposal to test the potential we got. The tema is already strong despite Carletti, Quiroga and Desiderio are still not present. But I am happy anyway because we are growing and we can keep improve our game!”
The friendly match against Trento was too hard, Trento plays in Serie A1 and will begin the championship this week end, so their preparation is ahead…. they are ready to play.
For Fiorese it has been important because the team game has improved. The team played much better comparing the last friendly match against Japan Tobacco.
Good performance for Moro (18 points) and for Dalla Libera.
Coach Simoni declared that there is still a lot of work to do but the team is on the right path.
About the injured players we can say that Daniele Desiderio will have the knee surgery most likely next week. Carletti has started his recovery.
Quiroga will arrive in Bassano only on the 21st of September, three days before the beginning of the championship.
Next appointment for Bassano will be the “Torneo Taverna” scheduled on Saturday and sunday in Crema. The semifinals will be: Bassano-Milano (5.30PM) and Crema-Innsbruck, finals on Sunday starting from 3.30PM.
