The first gathering is set for Monday 31 August. The first two players to arrive were the Cubans, Hierrezuelo and Hernandez. Assistant coach Adriano Di Pinto followed, then Barone, Randazzo and Candellaro. The rest of the team landed in Molfetta the next day, including coach Gulinelli. The opening league game is scheduled for October 25.
