Piacenza extended the contracts of setter Miguel Tavares and spiker/outside hitter Thijs Ter Horst. Born in 1993, the Portuguese setter had to take care of the team’s distribution once Vermiglio left the club. In 25 games, he scored 33 points (9 aces, 6 blocks). As for Ter Horst, this will be his sixth consecutive season in Italy, his second at Piacenza. In 5 years, he made 101 appearances and scored 612 points (28 aces, 69 blocks).
