The three-day Volley Market event in Bentivoglio ended with the release of the fixture lists. Reggio, who confirmed coach Cantagalli would lead the group for a third consecutive season, will kick off at home against Tuscania on October 25. The names that stand out of Reggio’s new roster are outside hitter Leano Cetrullo, who was top scorer of the A2 three years ago with Ortona, and Ludovico Dolfo, who played for years in the top division.
“We can be happy with the calendar, we’ve not been given too much of a hard time to start with – said Santini – Then, it’s obvious there won’t be any easy games. At the end of the regular season we’ll face candidates for the playoffs like Vibo, Sora and Ortona. This will be an incredibly hard period. Our goal is to improve on last season and we really want to have a go at the Italian Cup, playing it in Milan on the same stage as the SuperLega stars would really be special”.
