Just a few days have gone by since the addition of Esposito but Tuscania is back with a vengeance with the signings of Calonico, Hueller and Mazzon. Born in 1981, Calonico has been one of the stars of the B1 division for years before playing in Corigliano last season in the Serie A2. As for setter Andrea Hueller and spiker Riccardo Mazzon, they will be promising youngsters on the bench ready to grasp their opportunities.
“I will be one of the veterans of the group – said Calonico – I will have to lead by example in training but that’s a responsibility I don’t mind having, especially now that we have a great setter like Nat (Monopoli)”.
