Potenza Picena maintained its promise and kept libero Bernardo Calistri for another season. Born in 1993, the young star who came up in Macerata (Junior League winner 2013) will be among the players to stay as the club aims at confirming most of the group that won the Serie A2 last season.
“I am very happy to stay in Potenza Picena even if we don’t move up to the SuperLega – said Bernardo Calistri – The Serie A2 is an exciting league especially for a club working on a positive youth project. In this league, I know I’ll have more time on court and therefore more of a chance to get better and make my mark. I was glad to see we signed Cavuto, who I faced twice in the Under 20 finals. Hopefully, we’ll have a competitive team this year again”.
