Calzedonia Verona announced the contract extension of Giacomo Bellei, who will play for a third consecutive year at the club, the fourth all together. Overall, the outside hitter scored 536 points in 90 appearances, while he wore the Verona shirt 30 times last season, being one of the players coach Giani used the most.
“I’m thrilled to stay in Verona – said Bellei – I really feel part of the plan. We will have more pressure next season, the club has put together a top level team and our goal will be to consolidate our place in the top six”.
